DevSecOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description

As a DevSecOps Engineer at EFS, you will play a crucial role in embedding security within every phase of our cloud-native software development lifecycle, all within a Serverless AWS environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Automating Security Integration: Seamlessly incorporate both application and infrastructure security into Agile and DevOps workflows and tools.
• Proactive Security Measures: Take charge of proactive security scanning, identifying vulnerabilities early in the development process.
• Security Monitoring and Response: Vigilantly monitor the security posture of our applications and AWS infrastructure. Quickly respond to and mitigate any security issues that arise.
• Collaboration and Policy Enforcement: Work closely with the CTO to develop and enforce comprehensive security policies across the organisation.
• Continuous Improvement: Constantly seek to enhance the security, stability, and efficiency of our solutions through automation, including load testing and vulnerability scanning.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in cloud security, with a security-first mindset. Developer experience is also highly valued.
• Cloud Expertise: Profound knowledge of cloud computing platforms, with a preference for AWS.
• Technical Skills: Experience with security automation tools, proficiency in Terraform, Serverless architectures on AWS, and Postgres. Familiarity with CI/CD processes is essential.
• Standards and Policies: Understanding of information security frameworks, standards, and policies.
• Communication: Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. German language skills are a bonus.
• Passion for Renewable Energy: A strong desire to contribute to the energy transition. EFS is poised to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector, and we want you to be a part of that journey.
