Place of employment could be either Germany or Den­mark and maybe even Poland. The place of work is at our Cus­tomer sites mainly in Europe but we support our Custo­mers across the globe. For that posi­tion you can expect to travel 100+ days per year.

Your position

In your new position as HV Technician in the Rene­wables Div­sion, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated MV / HV Service Team specializing in pro­viding elec­trical services for offshore wind projects.

Your team is dedicated to testing power systems and modi­fications and plays a crucial role in our efforts to establish our­selves as a lea­ding service pro­vider in the rapidly growing off­shore wind industry. In this role, you will work as a tech­nician within the medium voltage and high voltage elec­trical field and get the chance to work with many exciting and complex systems.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As HV Technician, you will perform a variety of service and mainte­nance duties on offshore substations, wind turbines and oil and gas drilling units.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to elec­trical services from low voltage to 220kV primarily in the follo­wing areas:

  • Maintenance of offshore substations (OSS) and wind turbines (WTG)
  • Special periodic survey (SPS) of dril­ling rigs and drill ships
  • Service tasks on switchgears and trans­formers
  • Test of protection devices such as relays, circuit breakers etc.

Your profile and qualifications

What we value most for this position is a strong under­standing of – and interest in – the MV / HV elec­trical field. We are a suppor­tive team who prio­ritizes each other and safety above all else. As such, a strong safety mind­set and a colla­borative, team-oriented approach to your work is a must.

To succeed in this posi­tion, we envision you to have:

  • An educational back­ground as an elec­trician
  • Experience in wor­king with medium and high voltage cables, trans­formers and switchgear
  • Documented switching expe­rience on high voltage equipment is advan­tageous
  • GWO training including HUET certi­ficates
  • A work permit for the EU
