Senior SEO Manager (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior SEO Manager to develop and implement effective search engine optimization strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current SEO trends, a proven track record of improving website rankings, and the ability to drive organic traffic growth.

Your Impact

• Develope and Execute SEO Strategies: Create, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility, traffic, and conversions
• Keyword Research: Conduct through keyword research to identify opportunities for website optimization and content creation and develop a content roadmap
• Content Roadmap: Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-optimized content that aligns with our brand and target audience
• On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings
• Technical SEO: Identify technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and site speed optimization possibilities and collaborate with product / engineering teams to resolve them
• Link building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality editorial backlinks (in partnership with the PR lead)
• Performance monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools
• Continuous improvement: Keep senior executives and leaders up to date about the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement

What can you bring

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably within e-commerce or tech
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or a related field
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; track record of making sound data-driven decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• German B2 or above required
