BESS Product Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager to enhance the knowledge and focus on BESS technology and solutions. The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in Nordic Solar’s BESS projects from a technical and commercial point of view.

You will be part of the Engineering Group and will collaborate closely with our various Engineering Teams as well as external stakeholders such as suppliers and consultants.

You will also provide commercial input regarding supplier evaluations, pricing, and market trends. This is to ensure that Nordic Solar implements cutting-edge and cost competitive solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the solutions and projects utilize the best-fit technology, suppliers, and general solutions;
• Continuously monitor advancements in BESS technology and market trends to ensure that our products remain competitive and at the forefront of the industry;
• Collaborate with external suppliers and consultants to assess and select components that align with project specifications and business objectives;
• Assist Strategic Procurement in techno commercial assessments;
• Contribute to the establishment and improvement of framework agreements to optimize supply chain efficiency;
• Offer technical and commercial insights to guide the development, design, and execution phases, to ensure project success at every stage.

About You

• 5+ years of experience within Energy Storage Systems or similar;
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant Engineering education or similar;
• Experience executing Energy Storage System projects;
• In-depth knowledge of BESS technology and market;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Fully proficient in English;
• Open minded to new ideas and way of working;
• Flexible and pragmatic.
