Job Function Overview

The Talent Acquisition team partners the Business in delivering high quality recruitment across all business divisions in Singapore. The incumbent will require the gravitas to engage with senior stake holders to deliver a comprehensive and value-added service, while working closely with hiring managers in ensuring smooth and efficient talent fulfillment. This position reports directly into the Assistant VP, Talent Acquisition, Group Human Resource.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection

  • Support end-to-end recruitment that includes but not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer management
  • Understand Business strategies and develop recruitment solutions that will meet present and future needs
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with local recruitment policies and processes
  • Candidate Management: ensuring candidates get a great experience and are given timely updates
  • Offer Management: prepare, present, and negotiate offers

Partnering with Stakeholders

  • Partner with Management, Hiring teams and HR teams to deliver value added services
  • Establish and maintain solid business partnership with hiring teams to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs
  • Ability to work on multiple complex assignments at any one time

Process & Reporting:

  • Management reporting by BU (weekly, Quarterly) via excel
  • Responsible for Process Optimization (new/existing) & implementation
  • Vendor Management
  • Key Challenges:

This position requires a high level of energy and flexibility and demands sufficient knowledge to resolve human resources related questions

Complexity of the business and deliverables

Recruitment activities and demands are not constant and may require the incumbent to manage the requirements during peaks and troughs.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Bachelor degree in Business or related subjects, with minimum 2 years’ experience within related area - Construction industry advantageous
  • Experience in technical/blue collar & junior level recruitment, project / volume hiring.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask to support various business
  • Ability to challenge assumptions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Personal Characteristics Desired

  • Influencing skills and confidence in dealing with mid-level Managers.
  • Strong communication skills and persuasive
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Forward thinking and open and receptive to new ideas. He/She should be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment of continuous improvement
  • Resourceful
