You may not know us. We are Norlys Energy Trading. A Danish gas and power trading company established in 2020. We are +200 people in our team, more than 20 nationalities, offices in Denmark and Singapore, and legal entities in the US and Germany, where we next year will have people on the ground. Chief Commercial Officer, Origination and Client Solutions

We need you to make this happen. We need to expand our team, and we need to establish a learning environment to reach our goal. This is our invitation to connect especially if you have energy market and origination experience as we are searching for multiple roles and seniorities. Our geographic priorities are Germany, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. Our product priorities are PPAs, Corporate PPAs, Optimization and balancing services. Our client priorities are renewable asset owners, PtX developers, and industrial consumers. If you can demonstrate experience in any of these fields, it is obviously a major advantage. How the team will end up depends on the mix of people we meet during this process.

Key responsibilities for the team

• Develop and execute market strategies in close collaboration with the rest of the company.
• Foster top-class collaboration with a focus on clients and results.
• Build, facilitate, and grow long-term relationships with our clients.
• Negotiate structured deals and renewable contracts.
• Lead the entire deal processes, internally and externally.
• Explore new business-, market-, and product opportunities.
• Other tasks necessary for a top-performing energy origination team.

Requirements for the team

• Energy market, deal structuring, and origination experience is a major advantage.
• You may be based in or willing to relocate to one of our prioritized markets.
• Having a substantial network within the industry is advantageous.
• A relevant education within economics, finance, business or similar.
• Excellent language skills (verbal and written) in English and any of the market languages.
• Outgoing and proactive personality with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Innovative, curious, and forward-thinking team-players.
• An outstanding team-player with a growth mindset.
• Willingness and drive to bring the results.
