Green Economy Financing Facilities Project Manager

The Resource Efficiency and Management Unit of RINA is seeking a highly motivated person to support the team in the management and development of climate finance and gender empowerment international projects and proposals.

The successful candidate will have passion in the energy transition and green economy sectors, good communications skills and a strong teamwork attitude.

We will count on your support to

• Assist clients with the development of operational climate risk strategy and quantification of climate-related impacts;
• Active interaction with the client aimed at both project deliveries and commercial opportunities identification and development;
• Support in elaboration and revision of technical reports for International Financing Institutions related to Green Financing and Gender Empowerment;
• Interaction with local consultants in the countries of operations and assure the whole project standard of quality;
• Identify and develop new project opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals and cost estimates;
• Support the team in general management of the projects meeting client’s requests.

Requirements

• University Degree (preferably engineering or economy);
• Not less than 5 years of experience;
• Passion and interest in learning and in giving contribution in the energy transition field and in topics related to gender empowerment especially in the context of a just transition;
• Excellent communication skills in English both oral and written, second language will be considered as a plus;
• Ability to write well structured, concise and well-reasoned reports, proposals and documents;
• Availability for short business trips within and outside EU;
• Very good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point;
• Excellent communication skills, team player.
