Meva Energy is a pioneer in renewable energy production. By converting biomass or biogenic waste from the manufacturing industry into renewable bio-syngas and biochar, we offer our customers sustainable solutions for producing or purchasing renewable energy.

We see a strong demand for our climate-friendly energy technology. Recently, we have successfully implemented our solution at Sofidel's tissue paper mill in Östergötland, where we replace their fossil LPG with renewable bio-syngas. Currently, we are in the construction phase for a plant next to IKEA Industry's furniture production in Poland, where we convert wood waste from the factory into renewable electricity and heat. These customers have additional facilities where our technology can be used, and in the first step we focus on these two main segments, even though our technology has broad application possibilities in various areas.

Now that we have passed the commercial breakthrough, we need to take the next step by increasing the capacity in our sales and business development organization. Therefore, we are looking for an additional Business Developer with a focus on sales of our energy plants and sales of long-term energy contracts.

Your role

Meva Energy's sales process is multifaceted and is based on long-term processing and deep understanding of how the decision-making processes work in large industrial investment projects. As a Business Developer, you will work with segmentation of potential customers, conducting pre-studies of the customer's existing energy systems and potential fuel supply. The role involves analysis and understanding of regulatory constraints, setting up business case models and addressing commercial and technical risks. During all these steps, you will have dialogue and communication with the customer's representatives, with your colleagues and with industrial partners to Meva Energy.

The role of Business Developer requires a good ability to see the big picture and business acumen. The work is international, which means business opportunities and customer dialogues throughout Europe. You will have a great responsibility to nurture individual customer relationships. In the long run, there is the possibility of taking over commercial responsibility for entire business segments and application areas.

An important success factor is to continuously have a clear and long-term view of the business and understand what activities and decisions are required to get there. This requires a good understanding of the complex technical and commercial conditions that need to be in place for a deal to be possible.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a proven ability to independently drive complex sales processes and project management within the industry. If you have experience in selling energy plants or other technical infrastructure with large commercial order values, it is strongly meritorious, as is experience in a role as Sales Manager towards the timber or paper industry or similar sectors. Perhaps you are now tempted to spread your wings in a growth company where you can make a real difference.

Your ability to work systematically and with a focus on quality is of great importance. You are a good communicator and speak very good Swedish and English. As a person, you build good relationships and have a genuine passion for offering first-class service.
