We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our Offshore Market Development team in CIP’s headquarters Copenhagen on a part-time basis.

About the team

The offshore MD team works strategically with offshore wind across CIP’s investment funds. The team works within numerous areas, incl.:

  • Development of market strategies for how to best address market opportunities
  • Positioning CIP in existing and new markets
  • Delivering early stage OFW projects and partnerships across CIPs fund strategies
  • Project Portfolio analysis and optimization

The team is part of the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) area and works closely with investment teams across the relevant fund strategies.

The position

As Analyst in the OF MD team you will be assisting the development of market strategies and assessments of new market and project opportunities. On a day-to-day basis, this will include engagement with internal and external stakeholders, scoping and developing recommendations in relation to market entry plans, greenfield project opportunities and early-stage partnerships in relation to selected markets. You will be working closely together with investment professionals from our offices in Copenhagen, London, New York, Tokyo, Melbourne, Singapore, and Seoul, as well as local development teams from Copenhagen Offshore Partners across the world.

This position sits in the heart of the organization and is indeed filled with variability. It is therefore a must that you thrive in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.

You will contribute to shaping CIP’s world leading long-term Offshore Wind market and project pipeline and establishing a global offshore wind market outlook. CIP will constantly seek to motivate and inspire you, while focusing on your learning and personal development. Working with our skilled team members, the right candidate will build a solid commercial and technical understanding of renewable energy and infrastructure.

The role will be on a part-time basis and CIP will provide you with flexibility to continue coursing your current studies whilst gaining professional experience in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate

We are looking for a motivated and analytical student coursing a relevant bachelors or master’s degree (technical or commercial). Key skills include:

  • Great project management and communication skills with excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to visualize solutions to complex challenges
  • Solid strategic, financial and commercial understanding
  • Structured approach to your workday and ability to work on several different projects in parallel
  • A positive getting-things-done attitude and a genuine desire to work in a fast-growing international organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate and deliver on joint goals within diverse and cross-functional teams
