Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Owner to lead our team in the dynamic electric vehicle (EV) charging industry. As the Product Owner for Innovative Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Solutions, you will spearhead the development and enhancement of cutting-edge charging infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to create a user-centric and technologically advanced experience for EV users, incorporating the latest trends and topics in the EVSE domain. Embrace the following transformative areas: Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology, dynamic pricing, energy market integration, Charge Point Operator (CPO) services, advanced battery technologies, smart charging and grid integration, wireless charging, cybersecurity for EV charging infrastructure, and regulatory and policy developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy:
  Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Innovative EVSE Solutions, aligned with the company's vision and business objectives. Emphasize V2X, dynamic pricing, energy market integration, CPO services, and other emerging trends.
• Roadmap Planning:
  Create and maintain a product roadmap outlining key features and enhancements for Innovative EVSE Solutions, considering business priorities, market trends, and customer needs.
• Competitive Analysis:
  Stay abreast of the EV charging market landscape, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to identify potential product differentiators and innovative features.
• Industry Advocacy:
  Act as a subject matter expert for the Innovative EVSE domain, covering V2X, dynamic charging, energy market integration, CPO services, and other key areas. Attend industry events, participate in forums, and build relationships with key stakeholders to stay at the forefront of industry trends.
• V2X Technology Integration:
  Lead the integration of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology into our EVSE solutions, exploring opportunities for bidirectional communication between EVs and the power grid.
• Dynamic Charging Implementation:
  Drive the implementation of dynamic charging solutions, exploring methods to charge electric vehicles while in motion and enhancing the overall flexibility and convenience of charging.
• Energy Market Collaboration:
  Collaborate with energy market stakeholders to integrate EVSE solutions into energy markets, optimizing charging schedules based on electricity demand, pricing, and renewable energy availability.
• Charge Point Operator (CPO) Service Enhancement:
  Enhance and expand Charge Point Operator (CPO) services, ensuring seamless management and operation of charging infrastructure, including billing, maintenance, and network management.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Stay informed about regulatory developments in the EVSE space, ensuring that our solutions comply with emerging standards and regulations, and actively engage in shaping favourable policies for the industry.
• Cybersecurity Oversight:
  Oversee the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures for EV charging infrastructure, ensuring the integrity and security of data transmitted between vehicles and charging stations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent); MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in the electric vehicle or charging infrastructure space.
• Strong understanding of the EV charging industry, including knowledge of EVSE, V2X, dynamic charging, energy market integration, CPO functionality, advanced battery technologies, smart charging and grid integration, wireless charging, cybersecurity, and regulatory developments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product features.
• Passion for user-centric design and experience in working closely with UX/UI designers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Results-driven mindset, with a track record of delivering successful products in the EV or technology space.
• Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies to derive actionable insights from user behaviour and product usage data.
• Knowledge of EVSE development frameworks, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Passion for sustainability and electric vehicles is a plus.
