Manager, Customer Asset Trading (Electricity Markets)

As a manager of the Customer Asset Trading team, you are in charge of the operative side of Energy Services, CCM’s unit for the customer-facing physical electricity market offering. Your team handles forecasting and physical trading for retail and industrial consumption as well as wind and solar generation, 365 days per year.

You also work in close collaboration with your colleagues in Energy Services to develop new tools and offerings, for example around demand flexibility and energy storages. In addition, you network with adjacent teams such as intra-day trading, market analysis and balance settlement to make sure our offering works along the whole chain from the customer to the market.

You are in a key position driving CCM’s and whole Fortum’s transformation towards a more customer-driven organization. Our business and the team is growing, thus you are also active in new recruitments and developing your team’s competences and spirit further.

The position is permanent and located in Solna, Sweden.

About you

We are looking for an individual with deep understanding of the physical electricity markets.

To be successful in the position, you will also have:

• Solid work experience in physical trading, settlement or operative forecasting
• Relevant academic degree
• General knowledge of operative IT systems
• Customer- and growth mindset
• Leadership experience considered a plus
• Fluent English language skills. Swedish skills are considered an advantage
