What you’ll do

At a high level, our DevOps team is playing a pivotal role in propelling our organization toward the ambitious goal of climate neutrality by 2035. Leveraging advanced cloud technologies, we're architecting and optimizing the infrastructure necessary to support a sustainable and eco-friendly energy system. By harnessing the power of cloud platforms like Azure, we're creating scalable and efficient solutions that facilitate the integration and management of renewable energy assets, including wind farms, solar parks, and batteries. Through innovative applications of cloud-based monitoring and control systems, we're enabling real-time adjustments in energy consumption, allowing for better alignment with the availability of sustainable energy sources. Our focus on optimizing resource usage and minimizing environmental impact within the cloud ecosystem directly contributes to a more sustainable energy landscape, ultimately accelerating our journey toward a climate-neutral future.

Is this about you?

What we need you to bring to the team:

  • Azure Cloud Proficiency:
    • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Azure Cloud services, architecture, and management, enabling effective deployment and management of applications on the Azure platform.
  • Terraform and ArgoCD Competency:
    • Proficiency in utilizing Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management, as well as experience with ArgoCD for efficient application deployment, configuration, and GitOps workflows.
  • CICD Pipeline Design and Automation Skills:
    • Strong ability to design, implement, and optimize CICD pipelines using Azure DevOps, streamlining software delivery through automation and ensuring code quality and reliability.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning Proficiency:
    • Experience in implementing monitoring solutions, utilizing tools to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, and optimizing system configurations to enhance application performance and reliability.
  • Collaborative Team Player:
    • Effective team collaborator with excellent communication skills, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams, understanding project requirements, and providing valuable technical input and guidance.
  • You need to be currently based in the Netehrlands to apply for this opportunity.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CICD Pipeline Implementation:
    • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing Azure Cloud resources.
    • Establish and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate software delivery, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Tools Utilization and Integration:
    • Leverage Azure DevOps, Terraform, and ArgoCD for efficient deployment, monitoring, and management of applications, ensuring seamless integration and orchestration of services.
    • Collaborate with teams to integrate testing frameworks and tools into the CICD pipeline, supporting the QA team in automated testing and test automation integration.
  • Azure Cloud and OpenShift Expertise:
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Azure Cloud services, architecture, and best practices, effectively utilizing Azure resources for scalable and secure application deployment.
    • Be familiar with OpenShift and related technologies, enabling seamless integration and management of containerized applications within the platform.
  • Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
    • Implement robust monitoring solutions and methodologies to proactively identify and address system performance issues, ensuring optimal application performance and availability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fine-tune and optimize system configurations, making data-driven decisions to enhance overall system efficiency.
  • Requirements Analysis and Collaboration:
    • Analyze project requirements and work closely with development and operational teams to design appropriate solutions, considering scalability, reliability, and security.
    • Actively participate in cross-functional collaboration, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure solutions aligned with project objectives.

The gig is a real rollercoaster of exciting tasks - crafting infrastructure and slick CI/CD pipelines to keeping a sharp eye on monitoring alerts. That's not all! We've got the QA squad's back, lending a hand to automate tests and supporting our 24/7 comrades whenever there's a hiccup or a performance hiccup.

  • Gross year salary of between €70.000 and €95.000
