The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore is recruiting a post-doctoral Research Fellow.

The successful candidate will work on developing a novel floating hybrid tidal-wave energy system. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations will be conducted for design and analysis. Hydroelasticity of the tidal turbine blades will be considered.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a recognised PhD degree in hydrodynamics, marine renewable energy, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with CFD simulations and hydrodynamic analysis.
  • Knowledge of coastal dynamics such as waves and tides.
  • Strong writing and communication skills and able to present results.
  • Good publication record is advantageous.
  • Open to fixed term contract.
