Mission

Support to the Corporate Finance Department, namely in the control and report of the Finance Positions of the Group, Credit Exposure and Financial Risk Management.

Main Accountabilities

  • Reporting of monthly closing Finance Position to internal and external parties, mainly Holding Company (EDP), finance teams and other departments;
  • Elaboration of presentations of the Financial Results for Stakeholders and Management;
  • Preparation of the information for budget, Statutory Financial Reports, in coordination with the Accounting and Planning and Control team, as well as internal analysis and memorandums required;
  • Preparation of all supporting documentation for the Finance department, namely calculation of Fair Value of Loans and derivatives, mark-to-mark calculations, derivative efficiency tests, net investment hedge documentation and others;
  • Support markets team in the reporting of transactions to EMIR regarding EDPR deals;
  • Responsible for the Finance Internal Controls and providing information to auditors to support annual revision of statutory accounts;
  • Granting support to the management of the Credit Support of the Group to the business units;
  • Optimization of the reporting’s of the finance department with automatization of processes;
  • Efficiently manage priorities in a multi-project environment with very strict deadlines, in transparency and discussion with internal clients and stakeholders;

Required Profile

  1. Academic Level
  • Graduation in accounting, business administration or finance.
  • MBA or advance degree in finance is preferred.
  1. Required Professional Experience

At least 2 in similar position is required Knowledge in financial modelling and analytical Presentation skills are required

  1. Specific Knowledge
  • Appropriate knowledge of accounting and financial standards;
  • Knowledge of SAP would be considered a plus;
  • Technical experience in trading systems such as Bloomberg or Routers;
  • MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint, much valuated knowledge in PowerBI;
  1. Languages
  • English (mandatory);
  • Spanish (mandatory);
  • Another language would be a plus, such as Portuguese or French;
