Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the finance and accounting functions of various entities by leading and managing the accounting team.
  • Review monthly management accounts to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare/review China consolidated financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including corporate policies.
  • Managing external audit, banking and business partners relationships.
  • Managing queries from tax authorities from different jurisdictions
  • Participation in annual budgetary and business planning exercise
  • Provide financial leadership across the business to support business growth.
  • Strengthening current internal control and processes and to look into process transformation.
  • Lead or support local and corporate projects including any financial due diligence.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent
  • At least 14 years of accounting and statutory reporting experience and corporate governance compliance.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards and group consolidation matters and local tax filing.
  • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin.
  • Experience in the renewable industry is preferred.
  • Hands-on, open, creative and pro-active mentality and keen to work in a team
  • Able to translate technical tax issues into practical business solutions
  • Sound organizational skills and process driven mentally
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Innovative, self-motivated and detailed-oriented
