We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Benelux team at Vaisala GmbH, office in Bonn, Germany.

You will be part of our Benelux Sales team of actual four professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to increase sales in this territory, mainly in Belgium. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with your sales partner in Benelux and Germany and Benelux inside sales team. You will report to the Director of Sales EMEA Central.

What Will You Do?

  • Assume sales responsibility for industrial measuring products in the Belgium territory, including identifying new potential customers/projects and effectively managing existing clientele.
  • Provide technical and commercial consultancy to customers, manage leads, and conduct frequent on-site customer visits.
  • Utilize CRM system (SalesForce) to create quotes, follow up on opportunities, and execute value-based selling.
  • Participate in exhibitions, collaborate with sales team and stakeholders (e.g., product management, customer support, and R&D) to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Prepare and execute sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and ensure sales activities are aligned with the company strategy.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitor actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, or business).
  • Proven track record in technical sales, preferably in the field of industrial automation, process industry, or meteorology.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and value-based selling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
