The Customer Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in managing customer enrollments and transfers on the Community Solar portfolio, ensuring data integrity between Utility portals and internal CRM, executing document generation for annual compliance reporting, performing sales validation for new customer enrollments, and maintaining process documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Execute on Customer Enrollment, Transfers and Account Updates: Coordinate and execute on customer enrollment onto projects, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, and facilitating seamless transfers as necessary. Provide meticulous reporting on project subscriptions to maintain accurate records and support strategic decision-making.
  • Data Integrity Management: Ensure seamless integration and consistency of data between our Utility portal and internal CRM systems, troubleshooting any discrepancies that arise.
  • Regulatory Compliance Reporting: Execute the generation of essential documents mandated for compliance reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate closely with external regulatory teams and internal stakeholders to streamline processes and ensure seamless coordination, thereby upholding regulatory standards with precision and efficiency.
  • Sales Validation: Conduct thorough validation checks on new customer enrollments to ensure adherence to sales policies and state regulations.
  • Documentation Creation and Maintenance: Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation and training materials to ensure consistency and efficiency within the team.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the customer operations function, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and best practices.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly report on progress, including successes and areas of concern, to management, providing actionable insights for improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in sales operations, customer service, or related roles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.
