Fastned currently operates in nine countries (offices in Germany, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and Denmark). In this role you will drive the growth of our network in Denmark as part of our goal of 1,000 fast charging stations on prime locations across Europe.

Your role

This role will be based in Denmark, where you will become part of the Network Development team, a fun and diverse group of professionals spread across Europe. You will report directly to the Danish Country Manager and work under the New Markets team as a working student. You will collaborate closely with other team members across our different European locations to expand Fastneds business in Denmark through public tenders, private partnerships, and commercial deals. The job

Joining the New Markets team, you will play a central role in opening the Danish market for our network and help to bring “Freedom to the Electric Driver”. Being successful in the job means that you will feed early opportunities into our pipeline and work closely with the team to develop projects from leads to deals.

You will play a central role in preparing public tenders and developing strong ties to public and private actors. Developing opportunities and contributing to our European pipeline of new locations is the main goal, while also building Fastned’s reputation as an experienced and high-quality leader in the field of super fast charging. Your contribution to the main goal will be:

• Develop business for Fastned in Denmark through partnerships with real estate companies and developers, governmental institutions, consultancies and land owners;
• Help prepare tender documentation (technical and economic offer), in collaboration with the different internal corporate functions and in compliance with the timeframe and requirements, from pre-tender to post-tender fulfillments;
• Build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in both public and private sectors.

Job requirements

We believe you are:

• Highly motivated by Fastned’s mission and accelerating the energy transition,
• In the last year of your studies within business, economics, or real estate,
• Your entrepreneurial mindset helps you to continuously learn, challenge the status quo, and roll up the sleeves when needed,
• Your organizational skills help you to manage various projects efficiently,
• You are fluent in English and Danish and have outstanding verbal and written communication skills,
• A strong commercial and problem-solving mindset,
• Plus points for experience participating in tenders,
• Plus points for previous experience in high growth companies or renewable energy.
