We are looking for an experienced and collaborative individual who can lead, support and monitor the execution of work tasks to ensure the safe and timely delivery of our project in line with budget and quality standards.

Vielfältige Aufgaben

  • Effectively deputising for the Project Director in the execution of their functions when requested.
  • Offering hands-on support and oversight of HSE management on their project or scope and ensuring strong safety leadership is visible and HSE is embedded through all aspects of planning, design and work activities.
  • Proactively supporting the delivery of the project mission, in-year targets, and priorities for the delivery of the project scope.
  • Supporting the Project Director to develop and deliver the project to meet specification requirements, timeline, budget, HSE and in compliance with legal and other requirements.
  • Effectively coordinating budget, resources, risk and schedule updates.
  • Managing accurate Project performance reporting.
  • Being the day-to-day point of contact for nominated external stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the successful implementation of Management of Change.
  • Providing cross-discipline coordination with other project team members to drive integration and coordination.
  • Providing active management focus and involvement in the developing the project’s culture and a great place to work/belong initiatives.

Überzeugendes Profil

Core:

  • A bachelor’s or Master’s degree or the equivalent in engineering, industrial engineering, project management or similar.
  • Initiative and the ability to work effectively in a team are your strengths.
  • Excellent communication skills and engaging and effective presentation abilities.
  • Fluency in Business English. German is a plus.
  • You are very effective in stakeholder management and relationship building, due to your excellent communication and negotiation skills, persuasiveness, assertiveness.
  • You demonstrate the flexibility and willingness to travel incl. Germany within the scope of the job.
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritise actions to achieve project milestones.
  • You demonstrate a structured and independent way of working.
  • You are a very confident user of MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, O365, Visio) and SharePoint.
  • Willingness to familiarise oneself with new tasks at short notice.

Job specific requirements:

  • Experience or a good understanding of large-scale energy projects or transmission projects in the offshore wind industry.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in project management preferably for large infrastructure, manufacturing, or energy projects, including renewable energy projects.
  • Excellent safety leadership, including knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other key relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with experience of developing, managing and reporting on significant infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of the Scottish and UK energy policy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Genuine passion for developing Low Carbon renewable solutions.
