JOB OVERVIEW

The Business development specialist will help to drive sales and business growth by analyzing and identifying market opportunities, translating those into solutions leveraging on current portfolio and potential future products, developing new clients and conducting market research, monitoring the go-to-market execution, managing a variety of projects and analyzing internal data to better comprehend the BU positioning and potential on new markets. He/she will work with various departments and report to the EMEA Head of Business Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Understand the capabilities of our products and technologies and align them with application requirements.
  • Identify and Understand current and future customer needs and opportunities to introduce and sell products and solutions to the customer. Promote TE APL technologies and product portfolio with the customer and drive projects.
  • Conducting market research/analysis and identifying potential new clients or vertical markets for existing product portfolio and new product requirements for existing markets
  • Proactively address open customer issues, including quality issues, until appropriate closure.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships, with a special focus on Distribution partners
  • Generating new projects and initiatives to accomplish the above targets
  • Maintaining client information in the CRM database.
  • Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies, with special interactions with product management, Sales and marketing teams
  • Analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies and monitor growth in selected vertical markets
  • Support the marketing team in identifying what product to promote for which vertical market
  • Assist with drafting business plans, Sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partners.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or engineering.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in Distribution channels.
  • 2 - 4 years relevant work experience in business development or a similar field (strategic marketing) preferred.
  • Good market understanding and technical background preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English mandatory).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Mobility: Flexibility in working days, as well as domestic and international travelling.
