Senior Consultant, Renewable Energy - Denmark

Blue Power Partners is a global consultancy and project development company with a dedicated focus on developing renewable energy. We are expanding our activities, and we are currently looking for a colleague with commercial awareness, who can comprehend technical and financial data and turn it into decision-making materials to successfully meet our clients demand for expertise. Therefor we are looking for a new Senior Consultant to our Commercial Management department.

About the Job

In Commercial Management, where we are works with the world’s leading private equity firms on originating, managing, and optimizing renewable infrastructure investments. This is across onshore wind, solar pv, batteries and ptx assets classes. Here we drive work streams across various technical and financial functions in- and outside our organization to support informed investment decisions in renewable assets.

The team works with leading private equity firms on originating and managing renewable energy investments globally. In the role as Senior Consultant, you will be managing internal and client facing work streams, and work as part of an agile environment with a strong can-do, dynamic, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Commercial Management investment cases and drives cross functional work streams within and outside the organization to improve the clients’ investments cases.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Work cross-functionally with technical and financial departments in and outside the organization to improve investment cases.
• Financial modeling of investment sensitivities for renewable asset classes.
• Standardize internal work packages and client deliverables.
• Prepare and present investment decision material to leadership and clients.
• Conduct and present market research

Our headquarters in Aalborg will be your working place. But we do also have an office in Copenhagen, furthermore, we are a global company with a global mindset, so all our positions require flexibility from time to time.

Your ability to build relation and stakeholder management is a key skillset for you and must be something that motivates you.

Being successful in this role depends on your abilities of maneuvering in an entrepreneurial and performance driven organisation where no two days are the same.

Preferably, we expect you to enrich our business with the following experience and skills:

• 2-5 years of experience from other consultancies or experience working with private equity funds or extensive commercial experience from the renewable industry.
• Understanding of the energy markets and power purchase agreements is a benefit.
• Preferable you have an engineering or financial educational background.
• Possess strong analytical skills and can leverage these in our context.
• Have a strong track record with client interaction.
• Excellent in preparation of presentations and decision-making materials
• Outstanding communicator both with internal and external stakeholders
• Brilliant Excel and PowerPoint skills
