Job Description

EnergyHub seeks a Partner Solutions Manager with exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills to drive the growth and continuous improvement of our industry-leading network of distributed energy (DER) and IoT partners. Our partners include leading technology providers in the automotive, EV charging, energy storage, connected thermostat, and distributed energy sectors.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health of EnergyHub's DER partner ecosystem. From managing day-to-day operations of our DER partner relationships to identifying new partners and partner types that can bring additional value to EnergyHub's clients, you will be involved in all aspects of managing our partner network. You will work closely with EnergyHub's Client Success, Customer Support, Marketing, Utility Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure that our ecosystem partnerships support our business goals.

This is an ideal position for someone who wants to experience all operational aspects of a growing software business and be on the cutting edge of new clean energy technology.

Main Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of DER partners.
  • Manage partner-related work streams using project management software; proactively identify and resolve technical or operational performance issues and escalate key items to the senior business development team.
  • Coordinate with EnergyHub's Client Success, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure that each partner is meeting the business and technical objectives of EnergyHub and its clients
  • Identify potential new DER partners and onboard those partners onto our software platform and partner management ecosystem, including negotiating pricing and contract terms with new partners, operational onboarding and technical integration.
  • Advocate with partners on behalf of EnergyHub and our utility clients for product and business process improvements, and re-negotiate contract terms as necessary
  • Assist the accounting team in managing the monthly partner invoicing process.
  • Support the Sales team by providing pre-sales technical and business consultation regarding partner capabilities.
  • Research market opportunities and leading industry vendors to help identify potential new partners in our ecosystem, and help develop the business case for integrating those partners' devices with our platform.
  • Develop relationships with new potential partners via networking and attendance at industry events.
  • Willing to travel periodically.

Required Skills and Experience: What you need

  • Bachelor's degree and four to six years of work experience, preferably in a project management, consulting, or partnerships role.
  • Relationship Building: Adept at building and maintaining effective relationships with business and technical personnel across partners and internal teams.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and work streams successfully.
  • Analytical Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills, capable of drilling down into data sets to identify trends and causality, and combining data from multiple sources for deeper insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical and business information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem Solving: Experience solving complex problems across multiple stakeholders and technology platforms, with a proactive approach to identifying and removing blockers.
  • Decision Making: Ability to make informed decisions with less-than-complete information and effectively influence key drivers to help projects progress.
  • Negotiation: Familiar with contract and pricing terms, and experienced in negotiating and executing contracts with new technology partners.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Preferred Skills and Experience: Nice-to-haves

  • SaaS software experience and/or US energy industry experience is a plus.

Please note that sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization, or any other immigration-related support, is not available for this position at this time.
