Tetra Tech Infrastructure Northeast (INE) is seeking an entry level Civil Engineer ready for an engaging and high-impact position in which the successful candidate will work closely with experienced engineers and will be exposed to a wide range of projects for a variety of private clients and public agencies. If you are an experienced engineer who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring, and positively impacting our communities – this role is for you!
This role reports directly to our Land Development Project Manager. Our practice is focused on both public and private projects including mixed-use, commercial, industrial, and residential developments, renewable energy infrastructure, climate resilient infrastructure, and stormwater management infrastructure. You’ll work closely with our New England groups, who have a long and successful history of delivering complex, innovative, and successful award-winning projects. Most importantly, you’ll be joining a communities-focused, cohesive regional operating unit, supported by national and international resources.
How You’ll Make an Impact
The primary goal of this role is to contribute to the long-term success of projects. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing design plans and supporting calculations
- Assisting with the development of engineering studies and technical reports
- Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
- Supporting ArcGIS-based asset database development
- Conducting field investigations and inspections
You will achieve your best if you have…
- a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 0-3 years of experience
- proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) are required
- familiarity with ArcGIS, HydroCAD, and/or Storm and Sanitary Analysis is a plus
- desire to learn new design software programs
- the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- can meet quality standards and deadlines
