Senior Specialist, Computational Simulation Modelling

KK Wind Solutions is seeking a Senior Specialist in Computational Fluid Dynamics to join our Front-End Innovation Department. This is a unique opportunity to work on radical innovations that are new to KK and the industry as a whole.

As a Senior Specialist, you will be a key player in our concept development team, utilizing ANSYS® software to drive innovation, optimize designs, and validate concepts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and requirements
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations based on simulation outcomes
• Design and execute comprehensive CFD simulations to validate proof of concept designs
• Continuously refine and optimize simulation processes
• Work closely with engineering teams to integrate CFD insights into the product development process

Our requirements

• Master's degree in Fluid Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. PhD is a plus
• 4+ years of experience conducting CFD simulations with a strong portfolio of successful projects
• Proficiency in CAD software for geometry preparation and modification
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and numerical methods related to CFD
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex engineering challenges into effective simulation strategies
• Proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with multiphase flows, combustion, turbulence modeling, or other specialized CFD areas is a plus
