About the role
Melbourne Based | 6 Month FTC | Hybrid Office
The Cross-sell and Upsell Manager, part of the Portfolio Growth & Retention team in the Customer Value Optimisation (CVO) value stream, focuses on increasing the value of AGL's residential and SME customer base through planning and executing of cross-sell and upsell campaigns for energy & telco products, collaborating with the E&I Energy and Telco teams to create compelling bundles, and ensuring Customer Operations agents are well-trained. Additionally, the manager will work on improving digital customer journeys to increase profitability, coordinating with digital and customer experience teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Create and execute a cross-sell and upsell marketing strategy that aligns with CVO and Customer Market objectives.
- Use customer data models to shape marketing strategies, generate targeted insights, and refine models.
- Plan, scope, and budget campaigns, integrating go-to-market plans, omnichannel strategies, and media spend.
- Define rules for target volumes, segments, and required assets. Establish KPIs for monitoring and evaluation.
- Analyse campaign outcomes and digital analytics to enhance propositions and customer experiences.
- Identify and implement enhancements to the residential and SME customer journey and digital experiences.
- Leverage digital components in campaigns to boost cross-sell and upsell effectiveness.
- Oversee the retention marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation across campaigns and initiatives.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, preferable in Cross Sell & Upsell activities in the retail energy and/or telco market.
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends in the energy sector.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of resources to develop and execute high impact marketing campaigns.
- Ability of developing and implementing comprehensive cross-sell and up-sell strategies aligned with broader business goals.
- Proficient in data analysis to measure campaign performance and make data driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through effective cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
