About the role
The P&C Advisory Team respond directly to queries and requests from AGL employees, P&C as a whole and AGL leaders. We continue to evolve and improve the Shared Service offering and are constantly looking to drive efficiency and scale through the adoption of effective self-service solutions and maximisation of system use.
The P&C Advisor is a HR Generalist who will deliver HR services across the employee life cycle, while verifies our system data quality is accurate and up to date. The P&C Advisor will ensure organisational changes are captured in Workday, while providing guidance and interpretation on P&C policy and procedures. The successful candidate will possess strong customer service orientation, combined with strong business support knowledge to confidently support business needs aligned to AGL policy, people processes and practices.
This is a 12 month maximum-term role, based in Melbourne.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide P&C advice and assistance to leaders and employees and act as the first point of contact on the interpretation and application of HR systems, policy and processes. This will include, Workday related enquiries, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, payroll, position framework, job evaluations and employment legislation and obligations.
- In partnership with key stakeholders, provide administration support in the effective delivery of core people processes including, PDR cycles, talent sessions, performance review calibration, engagement action planning and remuneration review.
- Support and deliver AGL organisational design changes and manager movements in Workday.
- Support and coach frontline leaders and staff to build knowledge and capability around core P&C processes and practices.
- Identify and develop user focused self-service solutions through the analysis of support requests.
- In collaboration with the Digital Services team, support the audit and governance of people data through data remediation and exception reporting, running audits and system updates and preparation of people-related reporting and analytics.
- Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement that drives efficiencies and data quality outcomes.
What you’ll bring to the table
- Demonstrated experience within a HR, People Operations or Business Administration (desirable).
- Undergraduate degree or pending completion (desirable).
- Basic data analysis and reporting experience via MS Excel (desirable).
- Ability to coach and influence individuals to self-serve and drive efficient ways of working.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong sense of confidentiality and maturity in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent organisation skills with high levels of attention to detail.
- High level of business acumen and awareness of business drivers, deliverables and timeframes.
