Job Description

At SP Energy Networks, our focus is on harnessing technology and innovation to create the networks of the future. What you’ll be doing

As a Project Coordinator, you will work within the LV Service Termination team facilitating and coordinating all aspects of the Cut-Out Replacement programmes, with particular focus on the Proactive Replacement of CAT C Cut-Outs. You will assist in the collation and development of Licence-wide reporting on Service Termination Programmes and provide an interface with contractors and internal businesses to assist in the delivery of projects. This role is based in the Prenton Office and reports to the Service Termination Team.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day coordination of programme trackers and management and manipulation of the data in PowerBi / Excel as well as Salesforce to produce reports and present views on programme position.
  • Manage communication and coordination of programmes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Carry out tasks in accordance with Energy Networks safety rules.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered within timescales and to costs.
  • Coordination of field staff/material requirements etc.
  • Required standard of safety, quality, and environmental management met.
  • Work towards a zero-accident culture and lead by example.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all aspects of your operation and actively promote customer service standards within the area of responsibility.
  • Comply with site and workplace audits.
  • Attendance at monthly team meetings.
  • All appropriate safety documentation complied with.
  • Zero accident rate achieved.
  • Provide support to the CI/CML team.

What you’ll bring

  • Crafts qualification, apprenticeship, or S/NVQ.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
  • Knowledge of company Health & Safety requirements and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Energy Networks policies, procedures, and working practices.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with PowerBi.
  • Awareness of network development policies and procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Understanding of network management systems.
  • Contract management and commercial awareness.
  • Developed negotiation, communication, and people management skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Energy Networks IT systems.

You will work with the wider team to keep all parties updated on programmes and prioritize work. Delivering a balanced programme of activities, considering overall objectives, and leading improvements in safety and customer service culture is crucial. Making balanced decisions, consulting with others when necessary, and anticipating outcomes is important.
