What your day would look like

As our new Senior App Developer, you will work on the iOS platform as part of an expanding application team, leading the development, maintenance, and integration of features between our products and services. You will be responsible for the entire development cycle, from development and deployment preparation to the release of the application.

You will work with a technology stack of approximately 40% Swift (iOS) and 60% Kotlin (Multiplatform), ensuring seamless integration across platforms. Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to take on a Tech Lead position for the app if desired.

Some of your regular tasks will include;

• Building high-performance, user-friendly mobile applications.
• Writing scalable, optimized, and maintainable code.
• Unit-testing your code for robustness, usability, and reliability.
• Collaborating closely with our product team on infrastructure, scalability, and feature development.
• Ultimately, our customers on iOS will have a great mobile experience thanks to you.

As an iOS developer at Zaptec, you will focus on the big picture and provide our customers with a fantastic mobile experience. You will be an important part of a team focusing on delivering high-quality usability and developing best practices together with our product teams.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in iOS development using Swift.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or a willingness to learn.
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, CoreData, and Combine.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and backend integration.
• Knowledge of MVVM architecture and reactive programming.

It’s great if you also have:

• Experiences with C#/.NET.
• Familiarity with IoT, hardware communication, and BLE.
