As Cloud Security Officer at Deftpower, you make sure our platform stays safe, compliant and trusted as we scale fast across Europe. You design secure cloud architectures, automate compliance and make sure security is part of every build from infrastructure to code.

You'll work closely with Timo, your Team Lead, who currently acts as both Security Officer and CISO. Over time, we'd love to see you grow into these responsibilities and take the lead on security across the company.

You'll be the first in this role, setting the foundation for how we grow securely. You'll balance protection with progress, working side by side with engineers, operations and leadership because at Deftpower, security moves just as fast as innovation.

• Design and maintain secure Azure cloud architectures that protect data and access
• Automate compliance controls and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Act as Security Officer, translating compliance frameworks into practical solutions
• Collaborate with developers to promote secure coding and infrastructure practices
• Spot risks early, think in scenarios and turn insights into action

• Salary range: Between ???5000,- and ???6800,- a month
• ???2.000 training budget per year to keep learning and growing.

About you

You like building strong foundations not just for systems, but for how teams think about security. You fit right in at Deftpower if you know yourself well, what drives you, what you need to do your best work and how to communicate that clearly to others. We're growing fast, which means things change quickly, and that calls for a steady mindset and a clear voice.

• 5+ years of experience as a Security or Cloud Security Engineer
• Deep knowledge of Azure security best practices (vNet, VPN, WAF, network appliances)
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code and familiar with ISO 27001
• Proactive, analytical and not afraid to challenge assumptions

Dependent on the role we do a quick introduction by phone to see if there's a match on the basics. After that you'll meet the Hiring Manager or Team Lead. We'll tell you more about Deftpower, and we'd love to get to know you as a person. For some roles you'll work on a short case. Next, you will talk to a teammate so that you can get a good feel for the role and the Deftpower. For IT roles, this is when you receive the offer. For sales and operations roles there's often a third interview to give you an even broader picture of Deftpower.
