We are looking for an Offshore Service Technician to work in Oostende. At Vestas you will have the opportunity to develop your skills together with the global presence within wind energy and contribute to a greener world.

The Northwind Service team is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of Vestas V112 offshore wind turbines at the Northwind Offshore Wind Farm in the Belgian North Sea. The team operates from Oostende in a CTV‑based setup, with daily transfers to and from the wind farm, allowing technicians to return home after each working day.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems as directed by Supervisor
• Maintaining and upgrading installation activities
• Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
• Creating follow-up orders
• Responsible for the frictionless operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control
• Contribute to a safe working environment in general
• Registration of time and material consumption
• Compliance to Vestas's and client's procedures, processes, policies and instructions

Qualifications

• Completed an electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university
• Fluent in English, Dutch will be advantageous
• 5 years of experience in the electrical and mechanical field
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Driving license category B

Additional Information

Living in Belgium or close to the Oostende area (50km) or willing to relocate on own expense. As with this being a CTV setup you will be going home everyday while working in a 14/14 rotation.
