Job Description

This role translates business needs and customer insights into actionable products and clear product requirements, serving as the single point of accountability for maximizing long-term business value.

  • Own the Product Backlog: Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, including writing clear user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Lead Daily Execution: Serve as the dedicated "go-to" person for the delivery team, answering questions, clarifying requirements, and making rapid prioritization calls.
  • Accept Completed Work: Review and accept completed user stories, ensuring they meet acceptance criteria and deliver intended value.
  • Manage Releases: Coordinate with the team and stakeholders to plan and communicate product releases.
  • Develop and Maintain Key Artifacts: Maintain product requirement documents, customer journey maps, voice of the customer analysis, product analytics, and business impact dashboards.

  • Relationship Management: Navigating internal politics and diverse team dynamics to build trust and drive alignment across competing interests.

  • Incorporate Market and Competitive Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and market signals to inform product strategy, prioritization, and decision-making.

  • Manage Stakeholder Expectations: Act as the primary point of contact for your product, managing stakeholder expectations and communicating product vision and roadmap to business stakeholders.
  • Support Progress Communications: Partner with the delivery lead to support communication of delivery progress, key updates, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Conduct 'Customer' Research: Regularly meet with users and stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and needs.
  • Engage Cross-Functional Partners: Collaborate with business services teams and other partners to gather requirements, resolve issues, and drive alignment.
  • Drive Commercialization and Launch Readiness: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive go-to-market readiness, launch planning, and internal adoption activities that support successful product releases.
  • Drive Enablement and Client Engagement: Partner with stakeholders to develop product messaging, support demos and presentations, and provide product input for proposals and other commercialization activities as needed.
  • Represent Product Value Clearly: Communicate product value propositions clearly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders to reinforce client benefits and support product adoption.

Team Contribution & Growth

  • Contribute to Team Culture: Foster innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the product team.
  • Continuous Learning: Actively seek and act on feedback, participate in ongoing learning, and work toward shared team goals.
