Offshore Internship (m/w/d)

Are you ready for the offshore experience of a lifetime on one of our crane vessels or tugs?

At Heerema Marine Contractors, we do something new every day. We operate the world’s largest crane vessels and with them we transport, install and remove offshore structures for the offshore energy markets. Our projects range from installing wind turbines, removing retired offshore oil and gas platforms and installing platforms up to 50,000 metric tons. By joining us, you will play an important part in our unique maritime adventure.

Your role in the story

Each year Heerema Marine Contractors offers internships on her crane vessels and tugs. This can be a nautical, technical or both nautical and technical internship. For students who are doing the minor Ships Electronics and have the ambition to specialize themselves in the electronic part of a ship we offer specialized internships. By offering internships we want to give you the opportunity to gain the practical knowledge needed for your education and what it's like to work for a world leading marine contractor in the international offshore oil & gas and renewables industry. An internship within Heerema Marine Contractors is an impressive and explorative experience. Currently we still have some graduation opportunities in our rooms on board of our crane vessels.

During your internship you will be under the guidance of experienced and qualified colleagues.

Is this the job for you?

You are currently doing your Dutch bachelor study to become a Maritime Officer, eager to learn and have an interest in our activities. Furthermore you have a social, flexible and entrepreneurial mindset and don't give up easily when facing a problem but also dare to ask questions in case needed.
