Project Manager (m/w/d)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee customer and business projects within our department. In this role, you will be responsible for project management, portfolio management, budgeting, delivery performance, resource coordination, and stakeholder management. You will also facilitate project reviews and gate meetings according to the NCS Stage Gate Model, while maintaining good communication with customers regarding planning and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage key project tolerances including time, cost, scope, quality, risk, and benefit.
• Report on project reviews, gates, and lessons learned according to the NCS Gate Model.
• Assist with developing project training materials for the organization.
• Maintain cross-functional cooperation across NCS and with customers.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of project management procedures.

Our requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, civil, electrical, marine engineering, or related field.
• Project management certifications such as PRINCE2, IPMA, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in deliverables-driven project management.
• Proven track record of managing large/complex projects in a product development context.
• Experience with process optimization and business excellence.
• Cross-country experience and working with APQP in the automotive or machinery/off-road industry is preferred.
• Personal Skills:
• Strong desire to acquire new knowledge and optimize products, processes, and tools.
• Independent and proactive with a structured and systematic working approach
• Detail-oriented with a holistic overview, ensuring tasks are seen through to completion.
• Responsible and respectful of rules and processes, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to make coworkers, customers, and managers see the benefit of improving ways of working.
