The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) - Asset Lifecycle Management serves as the strategic liaison between IT and Generation Operations for the full lifecycle of generation assets. This role is accountable for aligning business needs with technology capabilities to optimize site onboarding, enable comprehensive end-to-end cost tracking, and deliver predictive analytics that drive reliability-based maintenance strategies. Ensures asset management technology investments deliver measurable business value.

Through seamless coordination between operations, maintenance, engineering, and IT, the value stream supports:

  • Asset lifecycle management - from acquisition through retirement.
  • Work management - planning, scheduling, and executing work to maintain asset health.
  • Reliability and performance optimization - ensuring the fleet delivers safe, reliable, and cost-effective generation.
  • Digital enablement - leveraging technology (e.g., Maximo, analytics, mobility) to streamline processes and improve decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Asset Lifecycle Management value stream for generation assets, ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational outcomes.
  • Define and maintain the roadmap for site onboarding, asset lifecycle optimization, cost visibility, and predictive maintenance enablement.
  • Drive integration between Maximo (work and asset management) and SAP (financial systems) to enable comprehensive end-to-end cost tracking and lifecycle cost optimization
  • Ensure measurable business value from IT investments by tracking performance against KPIs (asset reliability, maintenance costs, downtime reduction).
  • Lead the design and execution of end-to-end site onboarding processes, ensuring consistent configuration for new generation assets.
  • Standardize asset hierarchies, work management processes, and cost structures across the fleet.
  • Enable end-to-end cost tracking by ensuring seamless integration for labor, materials, contracts, and capital projects.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to improve cost transparency, budget forecasting, and variance tracking.
  • Manage coordination and oversight to IT aspects of asset life cycle including onboarding including hardware, networking, telcom circuits (business and ISO), data set up in systems like BI, Maximo, and CEWIS
  • Lead new M&A initiatives to determine project estimates based on whether they fit existing process or require new model.
  • Develop process and tracks to onboarding schedule while identifying and resolving blockers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and work management processes within power generation or industrial operations.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo and SAP or other enterprise finance/cost tracking and work management solutions
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics, reliability-centered maintenance, and digital enablement strategies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering technology-enabled business outcomes.

Job Overview

This position guides teams in the execution of agile initiatives to deliver customer value. Employees in this role train and coach in the use of Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP, and scale agile framework practices.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Trains and coaches leaders, teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindset
  • Contributes in Communities of Practice (CoP), within the agile network
  • Promotes and encourages collaboration and transparency and builds trusting relationships between business, delivery, and other entities within the organization
  • Facilitates periodic synchronization meetings across several different onsite and distributed delivery teams
  • Prepares program and release backlogs, as well as team and program objectives
  • Tracks, promotes, and publishes completed program features and program and team objectives
  • Manages risk and dependencies, communicates and escalates impediments to facilitate transparency, and reduces bottlenecks
  • Embraces a continuous improvement mindset, and drives the use of agile engineering best practices and innovation
  • Reports on standardized program-level metrics, and understands, tracks, and operates within the program budget
  • Plays an instrumental role in the organization's Agile transformation, acts as a change agent, and shows strong leadership skills with a positive and collaborative attitude
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 8+ years
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
