Job Description

Trinity Total Home is seeking a proven Roofing Sales Manager to build, lead, and scale a high-performing roofing sales organization. This opportunity is designed for a results-driven leader who thrives on coaching teams, developing talent, driving accountability, and delivering consistent revenue growth. If you have a track record of winning through your team and want to be rewarded for performance, this role offers significant earning potential and career growth.

This is a field sales leadership role. You will recruit, train, coach, and manage roofing sales representatives, spend meaningful time in the field on ride-alongs and closing support, inspect pipeline and KPI performance weekly, and partner closely with operations to ensure clean contracts and smooth installation handoffs.

You will focus on team performance, training, motivation, accountability, and operational alignment, while driving the team to achieve consistent revenue growth and maintain strong profit margins. Great sales leadership means leading from the front: coaching in the field, supporting closing opportunities, and demonstrating the behaviors that drive results.

The ideal candidate understands the roofing lifecycle, can develop strong sales talent, and knows how to grow revenue while protecting customer experience and profitability.

As Trinity Total Home continues to expand nationally, successful leaders will have opportunities to take on larger teams, additional markets, new product lines, and expanded leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop a team of 8-15 roofing sales representatives.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard high-performing roofing sales representatives.
  • Coach and mentor team members through regular team meetings, individual ride-alongs, and field feedback.
  • Motivate the team to meet or exceed sales and profit margin goals.
  • Foster a competitive, positive, and accountable sales culture.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including close rate, average contract value, gross margin, cancellation rate, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct weekly performance check-ins to review pipeline, activity, results, and growth opportunities.
  • Set clear standards of accountability for activity levels, customer follow-up, closing performance, and self-generated or referral business.
  • Recognize and develop top performers while coaching underperformers to improve.
  • Develop performance improvement plans to support underperforming reps and hold them accountable to required activity, communication, and production.
  • Maintain an active recruiting pipeline to support current and future market growth.

Sales Process & Training

  • Train new team members in roofing sales, estimating, and company processes.
  • Continuously improve the team's knowledge, skills, and abilities through training on sales strategies, industry and market knowledge, and personal and team development practices.
  • Maintain strong integrity in submitting complete and clean contracts, as well as setting and meeting customer expectations.
  • Coach reps on in-home presentations, pricing discipline, financing/payment discussions, follow-up, and closing execution.

Sales Strategy & Lead Generation

  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create self-generated and referral pipelines, including visiting installations and building local referral sources.
  • Evaluate sales processes and continuously improve close rates and profitability.

Operational Alignment

  • Work closely with operations to ensure a seamless transition from sales to installation.
  • Maintain strong communication between sales, project management, and installation teams.
  • Ensure customer expectations, scope, pricing, and contract documentation are clean before handoff.

A Typical Week Includes

  • Weekly team meeting and individual performance check-ins.
  • Field ride-alongs, sales coaching, and closing support.
  • Pipeline and KPI review, including close rate, average contract value, margin, cancellation rate, and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and developing sales talent.
  • Cross-functional follow-up with operations on contract quality, customer handoff, and installation readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales leadership experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of roofing, home improvement, or in-home sales experience.
  • Strong leadership, closing, coaching, and accountability skills.
  • Understanding of sales margins, profitability, and pipeline management.
  • Ability to drive sales performance through clear standards, coaching, and follow-up.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and serious about making money for you, your team, and Trinity Total Home.
  • Highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive up to 90 minutes throughout the assigned market.
  • Ability to climb ladders and perform roof inspections when necessary.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems and Office 365.
  • Experience supporting a team pipeline from initial estimate through installation.

Who Succeeds Here

  • Leaders who like being in the field and coaching from the front.
  • Managers who use KPIs, pipeline discipline, and direct feedback to drive performance.
  • People who can hold high standards while building a positive, competitive team culture.
  • Sales leaders who understand that clean contracts, accurate expectations, and strong operations handoffs matter as much as closing deals.
