Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Key Account Manager for our Copenhagen office (alternatively our Hammel, Ikast or Kolding office, as per your preference)!

At KK Wind Solutions, a world-leading partner to the wind industry, we supply a wide range of components and solutions to wind turbine manufacturers and operators globally. As part of our Monitoring Solutions business unit, you'll play a key role in delivering our vibration monitoring to the largest wind OEMs in the world.

Responsibilities

Your primary goal will be to meet sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth and profitability. To achieve this, you will:

  • Act as the Voice of Customer internally in KK, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are effectively communicated and addressed by our company.
  • Develop and implement account plans for key accounts across the world, in close collaboration with other relevant business units in KK.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, from C-level executives to technical experts and operational planners, to foster strong customer relationships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and gather customer feedback.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and those of KK.
  • Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience and effectively present KK's product portfolio.
  • Conduct frequent customer meetings, online as well as at the customer's locations in North America, Europe and Asia.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to post-sales support.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and regularly report on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Expand the use of vibration monitoring solutions in new wind turbine generator fleets.
  • Represent KK Wind Solutions at wind industry events.

Our requirements

The candidate must be able to document Key Account Management responsibility towards large corporations and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions within B2B.

Additionally, you should have:

  • Experience in the wind industry, ideally from a technology/service provider, wind turbine manufacturer, or wind asset operator, with a focus on sales and business development.
  • Proven track record as a Senior Key Account Manager or similar, capable of handling complex stakeholder environments and lengthy sales processes.
  • Excellent English communication skills. Danish would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • An educational background in economics with a personal interest in technology. Alternatively, an engineering degree combined with an MBA or similar.
  • A self-driven, creative, detail-oriented, and persistent approach to customer interactions, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Willingness to travel to the customers’ locations and occasionally have online meetings outside normal work hours due to time zone differences.
