As a Senior Project Manager in Delivery Projects, you will take responsibility for some of the most critical and complex infrastructure programs in the country. This role is both strategic and hands-on, you’ll manage large programs, integrate multiple workstreams, and engage with executives, regulators, and community stakeholders.

You will shape project outcomes, lead high-performing teams, and ensure that programs are delivered safely, efficiently, and with long-term impact. This is a career-defining opportunity to influence projects that will underpin Australia’s energy transition for decades to come.

A Day in the Life at Transgrid

In this role, you’ll be the anchor point for project delivery, steering teams, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the right balance between governance and action.

• Lead high-value programs from planning through to commissioning.
• Provide governance, assurance, and integration across multiple projects.
• Mentor and develop project managers and engineers.

About You

You’re an established senior project leader with a proven track record of delivering major infrastructure programs. You’re strategic, but also pragmatic enough to make things happen when it counts.

• Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline; postgrad PM qualifications desirable.
• 12–15+ years’ experience in large-scale infrastructure delivery.
• Strong governance, risk management, and commercial expertise.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
