What will a day in this role look like?

• Performing concept and detailed design of primary and/or secondary systems for transmission and distribution substation projects.
• Preparing design drawings, specifications and reports.
• Assisting senior engineers with the preparation of project and bid documentation as required.
• Liaising with team leads, project managers and project team members to deliver designs within allocated time, budget and required scope.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 2-5 years' experience in transmission and distribution substation design.
• Experience working in teams and taking ownership of project deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to take opportunities and drive learning and development.
• Experience in suitable power systems software packages is an advantage.
