Senior Portfolio Management Expert (m/w/d)

Job Description

We are looking for a new colleague who can take care of the European pricing and portfolio management activities of MET Group’s Green Assets Division:

• Tendering and management of power offtake, balancing agreements and sales contracts for guarantees of origin for the pan-European renewables portfolio;
• Setting up energy portfolio management processes, risk management measures, policies on position management;
• Development of power price curves to support position management of assets in the portfolio and valuation of M&A transactions;
• Coordination of asset integration into the renewables portfolio;
• Setting up and operating reporting activity for each asset on the fulfilment of energy management related KPIs;
• Development of risk management strategies related to renewables production;
• Pricing of position hedging products;
• Supporting internal decision making with investment proposals;
• Supporting business planning and budgeting;
• Any other tasks directly related to this position.

Qualifications

• College/university degree in Engineering and/ or Economics;
• 5+ years experience in the energy industry in project/pricing/portfolio management/energy trading;
• Experience in managing structured products;
• Excellent analytical skills, structured and strategic thinking;
• Fluent English is required;
• Any additional language knowledge (e.g. Spanish, Italian, German or other European language) is an advantage.
