Compliance Manager (m/w/d)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager EMEA (m/f/d) to join our Corporate Compliance Team in Munich.

What you will do

• You implement and further develop the BayWa r.e. group-wide Compliance Management System with focus on antitrust law, anticorruption, and money-laundering prevention.
• You develop, update, and ensure the effective implementation of comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.
• You participate actively in compliance risk assessments and document the proceedings.
• You develop and deliver engaging content for both in-person and online compliance training sessions.
• You conduct thorough business partner screenings and meticulously review draft contracts to ensure strict adherence to all process requirements
• You conduct compliance due diligence for the relevant M&A projects.
• You serve as the first point of contact for various compliance-related inquiries.

What you’ll need to succeed

• The foremost quality for this position is integrity.
• Degree in law, business law, economics, or comparable field of study.
• A minimum of 3 years hands-on compliance experience, with a preference for candidates from law firms or internationally operating companies.
• Experience working in an international environment with intercultural sensitivity.
• Fluency in both English and German.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
