Director, System Test and Validation

We are looking for a Director, System Test and Validation to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to VP, Controls & SW Engineering and based in San Jose, CA

This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the Test and SW validation team at Bloom Energy, and contribute to the product validation roadmap/strategy development
• Understand Bloom Energy system, and lead the test and release of the Bloom Energy control and SW modules
• Develop test strategies, plans, test cases, and conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing,
• Employ automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
• Define and implement operational processes, including configuration and commissioning of control systems.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
• 12+ years of related experience
• Extensive knowledge and applied experience in control system, SW engineering, Validation and verification process
• Strong skills in trouble shooting, reporting, problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership experience
• Advantage: General understanding and test experience in cyber security

Salary Ranges:

$217,300.00 - $312,700.00
