Job Description

Sembcorp Specialised Construction, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, provides design and build services with an in-house multidisciplinary consultancy. Specialising in building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects, we deliver innovative and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.
• Support QS team in contract administration, procurement, and progress claims assessment.
• Conduct site measurements and assist in evaluating variations and cost control measures.
• Work with costing and estimation software to analyze project budgets.
• Assist in reviewing project specifications, contracts, and construction drawings.
• Conduct market research on material costs and supplier pricing.
• Support project teams in monitoring budgets and financial performance.
• Prepare reports and documentation to track project costs and financial risks.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Background in Infrastructure & Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of cost estimation, contract management, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, or other quantity surveying software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements.
• Due to the sensitive nature of the project, only Singaporean candidates will be considered.
