Interface Management for Offshore Operational Preparation (m/w/d)
Job Description
WE AT KODIAK stand for in-depth expertise in the implementation of complex infrastructure projects. As a reliable partner for project implementers and developers, we realize challenging linear projects, energy and infrastructure projects across Europe - whether onshore, offshore or the modernization of existing grids.
We believe that genuine collaboration, personal development and room for new ideas are just as important as technology. Our specialists take a holistic approach to projects, think in terms of solutions and accompany complex projects from the initial concept to commissioning with passion, responsibility and an eye for detail.
Your Tasks
We are seeking an experienced Interface Manager for Offshore Operational Preparation (m/f/d). In this role, you will play a central part in shaping and refining complex EPCI and maintenance contracts from an operational perspective. You will coordinate numerous technical and organizational interfaces and ensure that our offshore assets are optimally prepared for the start of operations.
You will work closely with our project partner-a leading German Transmission System Operator-as well as with the Project Manager, and you will take independent responsibility for defined sub‑projects.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting and revising maintenance and EPCI contracts from an operational perspective
- Interface and requirements management: Consolidating, specifying, and translating operational requirements from many departments into contract-ready technical appendices
- Participating in the development of maintenance strategies and concepts for offshore assets
- Contract management from an operational perspective: structuring, reviewing, and supporting negotiations in close cooperation with the purchasing and legal departments
- Operations readiness: planning and managing the handover from project to operation
- Internal interface and stakeholder management (between the "project organization" and later the "operational organization")
- Creation and maintenance of schedules and milestone plans (e.g., with MS Project)
- Ensuring quality requirements
Requirements & Your Expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial), Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience in offshore EPC/EPCI also considered.
- EPCI/ O&M Contract proficiency - proven experience in drafting/reviewing technical appendices
- Exposure to offshore transmission (HVDC/HVAC platforms, cables, converter stations) or similar large infrastructure (wind, substations)
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level)
- Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the EU, along with the outlined qualifications
Our Range
- A permanent employment contract or freelance work
- Flexible working hours including predominantly home office arrangements
- Individual offers for further training and development
- Company pension scheme with employer contribution
- Access to our customizable benefit package with Become.1- a monthly, tax-free budget that you can freely redeem at our partners (e.g., supermarkets and drugstores, DeutschlandTicket, fuel vouchers, daycare subsidies, and much more).
- Access to our corporate benefit program with high discounts on a variety of well-known and strong brands
Please note that all offers - except for working hours and the option to work from home - apply only to our permanent employees and not to freelancers.
