Strategic Purchaser for Battery Storage Projects

Job Description

At our location in Dresden, we are looking for a new team member to join us as soon as possible on a full-time or part-time basis for the strategic purchasing of large components in the stationary battery storage sector, which is important for the energy transition.

This is what your day-to-day work with us will look like

• Contract management & negotiations: Ensuring clean and consistent contract documents, negotiating framework and supply contracts
• Preparing reliable price & offer comparisons, taking into account technical feedback, service costs, and current market prices, as well as regularly updating component prices
• Evaluating and acquiring new manufacturers and suppliers, coordinating technical and commercial reviews, and creating structured documentation for decision-making
• Standardizing request processes in uniform checklists to improve the comparability of offers
• Regularly and independently monitoring technical trends and manufacturer announcements
• Effective and reliable communication as an interface between the product development, sales & design, and materials management departments

What you bring

• A degree in economics and/or engineering (business administration, industrial engineering, energy management, etc.) or completed commercial training
• Initial experience in technical and strategic purchasing, ideally in the field of energy, EPC, or industrial projects
• Further training in purchasing, e.g., IHK certificate, "Strategic Purchasing" or specializations in supply chain management desirable
• Very good negotiation skills with international manufacturers
• Structured and independent way of working, good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Very good German and English skills (at least B2), optional knowledge of Mandarin
