This role will be remote from all over Germany or hybrid with base in the Cologne headquarters from SegenSolar GmbH.

Product Management at Segen

As a Digital Product Success Manager for Europe you will ensure the products we build are a commercial success through influencing at discovery, and by driving for adoption and engagement post launch. You will work closely with your Global colleagues in Product Management, Design and Engineering through the product process and be the lynchpin for European customer insights. You will be instrumental in bringing our business partners along a digital transformation journey as we introduce new ways of working through technology and AI. We are a close-knit, low-ego company that promotes great cross-functional partnerships across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and other supporting functions. Our people are passionate about our mission and united in our goals to give households and businesses independence from the energy grid, starting with building out our B2B platform to simplify the design and purchase of renewable energy systems.

Product Vision and Strategy

  • Champion the customer and the company goals, having a deep understanding of their needs and what it takes to delight them.
  • Be an influential voice for the long-term strategy, and subject matter expert on NPS and measuring customer satisfaction.
  • Keep informed and communicate trends in the industry and the competitive landscape both inside and outside of renewable energy.

Scale & Execution

  • Accountable for internal communication plans and go to market strategies for the product roadmap, ensuring maximum impact against our goals for active customers, revenue and profit.
  • Play a key role in post-launch support taking responsibility for internal tool adoption and user engagement.
  • Own the customer feedback process, measurement and goals for NPS and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Synthesize feedback into actionable insights for Product and Engineering colleagues to focus on the highest impact customer outcomes to maximise our opportunities.

Leadership

  • Build strong relationships with business partners, leading on the journey of business change, and educating on impact-first product delivery.
  • Collaborate through leadership, contributing to product decisions bringing data and insights.
  • Provide direction to the Data and AI team for internal efficiency innovations making sure they are impactful and adopted widely.
  • Continuously learn by looking outside your team/company for efficiencies in ways of working.

Communication

  • A clear and concise storyteller who can inspire colleagues through both written and verbal comms.
  • Confidently presents at internal and external forums.
  • Well-practised at interviewing customers as a strong active listener.
  • Effectively takes business partners and leadership on the product vision journey and regularly updates on progress against goals.

Data and Insights

  • Comprehensive understanding of insights and knowledge gaps in your area, creatively solving how to fill gaps.
  • Continually strive to acquire impactful insights to create effective hypotheses, and outcome driven goals.
  • Instrumental in planning and coordinating regular customer and market research to validate customers' needs and to validate ideas and solutions .
  • Contribute in building a culture of data-led decision making by defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) identifying which levers will impact company goals.

Job Competencies/Experience

  • Fluent in German and English languages
  • Proven track record in a customer facing environment working with digital product.
  • Experience working closely with Sales and Marketing, and senior management
  • Adept at using analytics and self-serve data tooling for decisions.
  • Demonstrable experience of obtaining and socialising customer insights.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
  • Able to manage more than one initiative simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, experimentation, fast feedback, and continuous learning.
