Job Description

As the Project Manager (f/m/d) for Offshore Infrastructure & Logistics, you will lead and oversee the full offshore infrastructure sub project in alignment with all applicable regulations, industry standards, and internal Siemens Energy project management processes. You will report functionally to the Head of Department and operationally to the Platform Project Manager within the assigned project team. In this role, you will be accountable for the planning, coordination, and delivery of all offshore infrastructure and logistics elements. This includes, but is not limited to, managing contractor procurement and performance for jack up barges, Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs), Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs), helicopter services, and port allocation requirements. You will develop and maintain integrated schedules for these workstreams, ensuring alignment with the project's overall timeline and critical path. A key part of your responsibilities will involve managing contractor interfaces, negotiating scopes, monitoring performance, and ensuring delivery in accordance with contractual requirements and budget constraints. You will actively track cost forecasts, assess financial risks, and ensure that all infrastructure and logistics activities are delivered within approved financial targets. EHS leadership is central to the role. You will work closely with the EHS team to embed a strong safety culture across all logistics and marine operations, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards and local regulatory requirements, and verifying that contractors implement and maintain robust safety practices. Success in this role requires strong cross functional collaboration. You will coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, EHS, commercial, and financial controlling colleagues, ensuring that all stakeholders remain informed and aligned. You will be responsible for providing clear communication, escalating risks early, and ensuring decisions are made to protect project delivery performance. Ultimately, you will drive the offshore infrastructure and logistics scope to achieve safe, timely, and cost effective project execution, fully aligned with Siemens Energy project management standards, customer expectations, and reporting requirements.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Drive effective contractor management by establishing clear scopes, monitoring performance, and ensuring all marine and aviation service providers deliver safely, on time, and within contractual obligations
  • Strengthen planning and scheduling through development of integrated offshore logistics timelines, identification of critical path activities, and proactive mitigation of delays to safeguard overall project delivery
  • Lead with a strong EHS culture, ensuring that all offshore infrastructure activities across vessels, helicopters, ports, and contractors meet or exceed Siemens Energy safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Enhance stakeholder alignment by maintaining transparent communication with engineering, procurement, EHS, finance, and external partners, ensuring decisions are timely, data driven, and fully coordinated
  • Ensure financial discipline by rigorously tracking budgets, forecasting costs, managing variations, and ensuring all offshore infrastructure and logistics activities remain within approved financial targets
  • Deliver reliable, efficient logistics operations that enable safe, timely, and cost effective offshore project execution, directly supporting successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction

What You Bring

  • University degree in an engineering, logistics, maritime or related field, or technical apprenticeship including long-standing years of industry specific experience
  • Proven experience in a similar offshore logistics or infrastructure project management role, ideally within the energy, marine, or offshore construction sectors. Proven contractor management capability, including defining scopes, managing performance, and coordinating multiple marine and aviation service providers
  • Strong project scheduling skills, with the ability to build, maintain, and monitor integrated timelines across offshore logistics, infrastructure activities, and cross functional workstreams
  • Solid understanding of EHS requirements for offshore and marine operations, with a demonstrated ability to embed safety leadership and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling alignment across engineering, procurement, EHS, finance, and external partners
  • Fluent in German and English is required, Project Management qualification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) is a plus
