ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Senior Control Engineer, you will:

• Be part of Battery energy storage Hardware Engineering safety team.
• Will closely work with Product development team, other domain design engineer, Program managers, product manager, Requisition team and other stakeholders.
• Conceptualize, design and perform analysis of fire alarm control systems for battery energy storage systems, including selection of proper FAS, sensors and control devices.
• Take full ownership of the design activity of fire alarm control system and prepare technical documentation for FACP, Creation of Cause and Effect Matrix Clear all Critical and Detailed Design Reviews
• Support setting up the fire alarm systems for large scale Fire testing activities.
• Identify Multiple vendors and work towards optimizing the FACP solution and the number of fire panels required.
• Coordinate and work with different stake holders including PE engineers to get NFPA 72 and NFPA70 certification for the existing and newly proposed FACP solutions.
• Provide cross functional and project support to solve issues of fire alarm systems.

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, Instrumentation & Control or Electronics engineering, with 5-8 years of experience in fire alarm system design.
• Knowledge of UL, IEC , Vds,NFPA70 and NFPA72 standards applicable for fire alarm systems.
• Experience in conceptualization, design and optimizing fire alarm systems for different applications.
• Architecture Knowledge of Fire Alarm System
• Experience in using drafting tools such as Auto CAD
• NICET I/II certification and programming knowledge of fire alarm systems is preferred.
• *Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• *Excellent communication skills.
• *Comfortable of working in a highly dynamic and changing environment and adapt to shifting customer priorities.
