Good Energy

Good Energy Group PLC

约70名员工(来源: goodenergy.co.uk)。

Job Description

You'll play a key role within our finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of our financial reporting to our UAE-based parent company. Combining technical expertise with a keen eye for detail, you'll oversee controls, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement across an exciting, purpose-led organisation.

This is where technical accounting meets real-world impact. You'll navigate complex group reporting matters and lead on the implementation of our new Oracle EPM system, transforming how we submit monthly figures. Working collaboratively across the finance function, you will act as a vital bridge between our local operations and the international group finance team, confidently managing queries and delivering high-quality insights.

In the role, you'll be passionate about refining processes, boosting automation, and establishing robust financial controls. You will also enjoy mentoring others, supporting the development of junior team members, and ensuring our financial foundation is built for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Group reporting packs: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting packs in line with IFRS and parent company deadlines.
  • Technical accounting: Apply strong technical knowledge to complex group reporting matters and financial policies.
  • Systems & automation: Support the implementation of the new Oracle EPM system and drive continuous automation and enhancements across the function.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Partner closely with the Financial Controller, Financial Accountant, and the wider team to meet internal and external deadlines.
  • International stakeholder management: Liaise with the UAE-based group finance team, responding to queries and providing supporting information.
  • Audit management: Support the year-end audit process, including preparing schedules and responding efficiently to auditor requests.
  • Process & controls oversight: Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust financial processes and controls across the group.
  • Statutory accounts: Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts to ensure full compliance.
  • Team development: Support and mentor junior members of the finance team to help grow their capabilities.

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for a fully qualified Group Reporting Accountant with post-qualification experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and multi-entity consolidations. You'll bring a strong understanding of IFRS/FRS 101, an impeccable eye for detail, and a naturally curious mindset that looks past the surface to understand the 'why' behind the numbers. High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) are essential, as is the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical, international audiences. If you thrive on driving process improvements, handling multiple deadlines, and delivering in a fast-paced, changing environment, we want to hear from you.

Essentials

  • Professional qualification: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Reporting expertise: Solid post-qualification experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Technical accounting: Strong, practical understanding of IFRS and FRS 101.
  • Systems & data: Advanced Excel skills and experience working with complex consolidation or ERP systems.
  • Communication & collaboration: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across international teams.
  • Delivery & focus: High attention to detail with an organised approach to prioritising workloads and managing tight group deadlines.
  • Adaptable mindset: Naturally inquisitive, proactive, and driven to deliver within a fast-paced, changing environment.

Desirables

  • Auditing background: Prior experience working with or for 'Big 4' auditors.
  • Specific ERP knowledge: Hands-on experience with Oracle or SAP systems.

Benefits you can rely on

Holiday: 25 days annual leave, a day off for your birthday, additional days leave for long service, plus bank holidays. You'll also have the option to buy additional leave, allowing for a better work-life balance.
