  • Contribute to M&A transactions by supporting tax due diligence, structuring, and post-close integration.
  • Plan and participate in change projects relating to indirect tax (such as ViDA).
  • Serve as indirect tax expert for SAP S/4HANA system purposes.
  • Strengthen tax awareness and capabilities across the organization by delivering training programs and developing internal guidance.
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess their impacts on Vaisala.

  • Prepare tax related disclosures to the Group's annual report, e.g. Vaisala's tax footprint.

What will you bring?

  • Previous working experience in VAT and indirect taxation; experience in other fields of tax is considered an advantage.
  • Good understanding of international tax laws and practices.
  • Experience of managing work with external consultants and ability to interpret and apply advice relating to foreign tax systems.
  • Good team working skills and willingness to take initiative and lead your own work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying practical solutions.
