What your day would look like

Due to strong growth in the Danish eMobility market, Zaptec Denmark is seeking a technically skilled Technical Project Manager/Technical Advisor/Technical Expert to join our Copenhagen-based team. You’ll play a vital role in shaping how Zaptec delivers technical excellence to our partners, acting as both an advisor and a technical project manager. This is a unique opportunity to become a trusted voice in the interface between Zaptec's product development teams and the leading energy companies and CPOs in Denmark.

We offer flexibility and want to make sure you have the space to grow into the role. While your day-to-day may evolve over time, we expect it could include:

• Provide technical pre-sales and post-sales support to key accounts and strategic partners.
• Act as the primary technical bridge between Danish partners and Zaptec HQ in Norway.
• Deliver consultative technical advice that builds long-term trust and confidence.
• Guide and lead technical onboarding, solution deployment, and development projects.

We’ve used Technical Project Manager, Technical Advisor, and Technical Expert to reflect the flexibility of this role. Depending on your background, you might lean more towards leading projects, advising partners, or diving deep into technical details. Is this you?

We hope you're a tech-curious problem-solver who’s motivated by complex systems, smart energy solutions, and making a real impact. Maybe you're familiar with OCPP, ISO 15118, or backend integrations — or eager to learn more. You enjoy combining technical depth with partner collaboration, and you value working across teams and borders to help shape the future of eMobility.

We think you have some of the following

• Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills.
• A consultative, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for technology and energy systems.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.

Bonus points if you have experience with backend integrations like CPMS, OCPP, or ISO 15118, or if you've worked with smart grids, energy communities, V2G solutions, or taken part in standardization forums like OCPP or ISO.

As for the skills required for this job

• Relevant technical experience from sectors such as energy, mobility, or telecommunications.
• Permanently based in the Greater Copenhagen Area and authorized to work without visa sponsorship.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Danish (written and verbal).
• This role requires up to 20–30 travel days annually.
